"Butterfly Effect", a composition by Mateusz Ryczek for positive organ, pipe organ, and wind orchestra, was commissioned by the Foundation of Good Music, or more precisely — by nearly one hundred individuals who supported the project during a crowdfunding campaign held in March. The world premiere will take place on 10 October 2025 at 6:30 PM in the Church of Peace in Świdnica. Admission is free!
The piece will be performed for the first time by Zuzanna and Maciej Bator (organ and positive organ), Agata Gąsienica (flute), and the National Wind Orchestra based in Lubin under the baton of Tomasz Kaniewski.
The concert is part of the 10th Christian Schlag International Organ Festival. The program will also include works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Johannès Donjon, Eugène Bozza, and Johann Sebastian Bach.
