POLMICThe Voix Étouffées Forum and the Art Association ‘Porta Musicae’ invite you to the event ‘Music, Memory and European Citizenship’. On the 9th of October, 2022, in Aula Florianka in Cracow, a workshop lecture will be held by the French conductor Amaury du Closel and a concert at 16.30 performed by artists from Poland and Austria.

The organization Forum Voix Étouffées, thanks to the support received from the EU programme CERV (Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values), created in 2022 a network of 21 partner organizations from 12 Member States of the European Union (Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands , Austria, Poland, Portugal, Spain and the Czech Republic), which work together to organize nine unique artistic events in Europe.

During the concert in Cracow, Jan Kalinowski (cello), Marek Szlezer (piano) and the quartet of soloists of the 1st Austrian Women's Chamber Orchestra will present works by Aleksander Tansman, Szymon Laks and Ruth Schönthal, Erich Zeisl and Maurice Ravel.
