The Institute of Art Development and the Bronisław Huberman Częstochowa Philharmonic cordially invite you to the concert "Music in Temples" – a unique, mystical journey through time, accompanied by the soothing sounds of choral music. This year's historical concert will take place on 30 September 2020 at 7 p.m. in the beautiful and unique interior of the Archcathedral Basilica of Of the Holy Family in Częstochowa.
During the event, Dr Juliusz Sętowski will tell the audience about the history of the Częstochowa Cathedral and its surroundings. Collegium Cantorum Częstochowa Philharmonic Choir, conducted by Janusz Siadlak, will perform pearls of contemporary Polish a cappella music for the audience. The churche will be illuminated by spatial lighting, which will draw attention to the details of the architecture of the neo-Gothic interior and introduce the audience into a contemplative mood.
The programme of the concert will include works by Edward Pałłasz, Romuald Twardowski, Henryk Mikołaj and Wojciech Widłak.
Free tickets can be collected at the Philharmonic Box Office from 21 September 2020. Due to the pandemic, the number of places is limited.
