Special events, organized by the Marian Sawa Society on the occasion of the composer’s 80th birth anniversary, will be held on January 14-18, 2017 in Warsaw.

January 14 at 6.00 pm, Field Cathedral of the Polish Army - mass and a concert of Marian Sawa’s choral works performed by the Choir and Orchestra of the Fryderyk Chopin Music School (dir. by Robert Lawrance) and Choir of the Karol Szymanowski State Music School Complex No. 4 (dir. by Anna Perzanowska-Tarasiuk);
January 15 at 5.00 pm, Fryderyk Chopin University of Music - concert featuring Sawa’s chamber compositions, performed by Maria Gabryś (piano), Jolanta Sosnowska (violin), Marcin Łukaszewski (piano), Dorota Całek (soprano), Urszula Świerczewska (piano) and string quartet consisting of Prof. Andrzej Gębski’s students;
January 16-17, Karol Szymanowski State Music School Complex No. 4 - 5th Marian Sawa National Organ Competition;
January 18 at 7.00 pm, Field Cathedral of the Polish Army - concert performed by students of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music.
