Electrophonics at Hashtag Lab in Warsaw

An electronic music concert, co-organized by the Chopin University Electronic Music Studio (CUEMS) and the Scientific and Artistic Circle of the Composition and Music Theory Department at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music, will take place at Hashtag Lab in Warsaw on May 6, 2025, at 8:00 PM.

CUEMS regularly presents at Hashtag Lab, showcasing the most recent and compelling works by students. This edition will feature compositions by Kacper Jastrzębski, Maciej Grinholc, Olga Pasek, Patrycja Kołodziejska, and Irina Pernes.

The program will also include an improvised electroacoustic set by Collectif4 (Julia Marczuk-Macidłowska, Włodzimierz Żukowski, Barbara Zach, Bartosz Mularski). Alongside advanced electronic sound, the performance will incorporate texts by Virginia Woolf, references to Charli XCX’s work, and elements of performance art.

The Contemporary Music Space Hashtag Lab is co-financed by the City of Warsaw.
