Polish Society for Contemporary Music invites children aged 5+ and their parents to storytelling musical fairy tales and a "Musical Journey to the Land of Imagination." This time, they will meet with musicians in Warsaw’s Wola district on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at 12:00 PM, at the Warsaw Gasworks Museum, located at S. Krzyżanowskiego 7 Street. Participation in the event is free.
It will be an interactive family concert (about 50 minutes), based on a story told by an actor and the audience, accompanied by improvising musicians.
Performers: Bartosz Kołsut (accordion), Małgorzata Kołcz (double bass), and Jarosław Siwiński (synthesizer). The journeys through fairy tales will be led by actor and children’s theater director Grzegorz Ociepka.
Artists and the audience will travel together through various lands of imagination, meeting fairy tale characters. The plot depends on the concert participants and their imagination. Every strange and wild idea suggested by the children may be told and played, as it will be accompanied by live music that emphasizes emotions and sets the atmosphere for the created stories.
“From our side, we promise lots of improvisation, and what adventures await us – we will find out during the concert,” announces the project’s author, Małgorzata Kołcz.
The concert is part of the PTMW project "Creative Warsaw" and is co-financed by the City of Warsaw.
