Final concert of the Young Academy 2026 at the Hashtag Lab

The Young Academy’s final concerts at the Hashtag Lab are a celebration of joy, spontaneity, and creativity. On April 25, 2026 at 6.00 pm, the latest works by the project participants will be performed, composed under the guidance of composer Olga Pasek.

Music school students, who spend their daily lives diligently practicing etudes, exercises, and scales, perform the repertoire they would never encounter in usual school setting. During workshops lasting several months, they discovered that sound can be produced in a hundred different ways, learned about pieces where the score is an image, and explored the secrets of improvisation.

Participants worked in two age groups under the supervision of violinist Marta Piórkowska and double bassist Sébastien Beliah. At the final concert, they will present the pieces they have prepared as well as their own original compositions.
