Hashtag Lab invites you on April 12, 2025, at 2:00 PM for a concert marking the culmination of the "Young Academy" workshops – a showcase of young musicians’ work, including world premieres of their own compositions!
Since October 2024, two groups of students from Warsaw music schools have been regularly meeting at Hashtag Lab, exploring the world of contemporary music performance and improvisation. Through this program, young musicians had the chance to experiment – both in ensembles and as soloists – in musical areas often overlooked in traditional music education.
For the first time this season, workshops were held for two different age groups, including sessions led by the renowned double bassist Sébastien Beliah.
During the final concert, all participants will come together to present what they’ve been working on: contemporary pieces, improvisations, and original compositions created during the workshops! Among the pieces to be performed are Algorytm stada and Efemera 4 by Katarzyna Krasuska.
The Hashtag Lab Contemporary Music Space is co-financed by the City of Warsaw.
