Franciszek Woźniak, a well known composer, pianist and teacher, winner of many competitions for composers, long-time lecturer and vice-chancellor of the Music Academy in Bydgoszcz, president of the Polish Composers’ Union’s Poznań Branch, member of the “Poznań Music Spring” Repertoire Committee – died on Thursday, 15th January 2009, aged 77.
