NeoArte – Synthesizer of Arts Festival exists to inspire, support creativity, positively influence people and improve their quality of life through participation in cultural events. 9th edition of the Festival will take place between the 26th and the 30th of October 2022
It works as a platform connecting artists from various cultural backgrounds and realms of art. Our festival is an intriguing event enhancing personal experience of music and art, stimulating new areas of human mind and enriching our perspective on the surrounding world.
The audience of the 11th Edition of our Festival will have an opportunity to experience 5 days of music with 9 concerts, 2 art installations and one art performance. Composition students will have a chance to attend composing workshops held by festival’s Composer in Residence Chihchun Chi-Sun Lee, lecture/presentation of Chinese traditional instruments held by Chih-Sheng Chen and also to participate in reading sessions run by NeoQuartet. Children and youth will be invited to take part in activities that introduce fascinating world of contemporary art.
Festival’s host, NeoQuartet ensemble, will perform on several occasions presenting among other pieces an iconic string quartet “Grido” by Helmut Lachenmann, continuation of Multichannel Post Quartet project for electric instruments and Balazs Kecskes D.’s Oratorio performed together with Helsinki Chamber Choir. The audience will have an opportunity to listen to several dozen compositions written by composers form around the world including 7 world premieres. Finale of NeoArte Synthesizer of Arts Festival and its closing concert held in Centrum Św. Jana will host the star of modern classical genre, German musician and composer of electronic music – Sven Helbig.
