Gdańsk Music Festival 2025

The Gdańsk Music Festival 2025 will take place from May 15 to 24. World-renowned artists and leading Polish symphony orchestras have been invited to perform in this year’s concerts.

Among the performers will be Kevin Chen – winner of the Arthur Rubinstein Piano Master Competition in Tel Aviv, the Concours de Genève, and the Franz Liszt International Piano Competition in Budapest; Alexander Gadjiev – laureate of the most recent edition of the International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw; and the legendary French pianist Michel Dalberto. Featured orchestras include the Pomeranian Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, the Polish Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra, Art’n’Voices, and, as always, the Baltic Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. A major highlight will be a concert by one of Europe’s finest orchestras – the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Maxim Emelyanychev, with violinist Vilde Frang as soloist.

In addition to well-established soloists and ensembles, the Festival, as it does every year, will also showcase artists at the beginning of their careers. This year’s program will feature the winner of the 2024 Karol Lipiński International Violin Competition, as well as laureates of the 2025 ViolinArt International Forum.

The Festival program will include works by Henryk Wieniawski, Grażyna Bacewicz, Karol Szymanowski, Witold Lutosławski, Marek Raczyński, and Anna Rocławska-Musiałczyk.
