III Festival "Paderewski at Ujazdów"
The Ave Arte Foundation invites you to a summer open-air festival held in one of Warsaw’s most charming parks – Ujazdowski Park.
The third edition of the project "Paderewski at Ujazdów" will take place from June 21 to September 6, 2025. Every Saturday at 4:00 PM, piano and chamber music will fill the air near the monument of Ignacy Jan Paderewski, performed by outstanding artists from Poland and abroad. Admission to all festival events is free!
This year, the organizers have expanded the program even further and invited new participants to the project. Over the course of 12 concerts throughout the summer, Warsaw audiences will be able to spend their Saturday afternoons not in enclosed halls, but enjoying classical music from various eras in the beautiful setting of Warsaw’s greenery.
The festival stage will host the following pianists:
Beata Bilińska (June 21), Michał Szymanowski (June 28), Daniil Kapeliush from Ukraine (July 5), Michał Mossakowski (July 12), Piotr Pawlak (July 19), Artur Dutkiewicz (July 26), and Joanna Marcinkowska (August 9).
We will also hear chamber ensembles including:
duos Aleksandra & Agnieszka Świgut (August 2), Paweł Wakarecy & Aleksandra Soboń-Wakarecy (August 16), Trio Animato – a harmonica ensemble (August 23),
a duet from Ukraine – Eva Kulikovska (piano) and Kataryna Tereza (violin) (August 30), and Tasten Duo: accordionist Bartosz Kołsut and pianist Juliusz Goniarski (September 6).
The festival combines cultural education with the promotion of the legacy of Polish composers, including Ignacy Jan Paderewski. His works will be performed alongside compositions by Juliusz Zarębski, Karol Szymanowski, Aleksander Tansman, Grażyna Bacewicz, Witold Lutosławski, Henryk Mikołaj Górecki, Miłosz Magin, Ignacy Friedman, and Artur Dutkiewicz.
Each concert will be hosted by Wiesław Dąbrowski, the festival’s director, and will feature musical commentary by Karol Furtak – musicologist and journalist of Dwójka, the Second Program of Polish Radio.
