Katowice | New Music Orchestra and Premieres of Works by Polish Composers

NOSPRThe New Music Orchestra under the baton of Maciej Koczur will premiere works by Paweł Hendrich, Dariusz Przybylski and Dobromiła Jaskot on 19 December 2021 at 6.00 p.m. at the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra Chamber Hall.

The concert was prepared by Filip Huget, who is the resident conductor of the Orchestra in the 2021/2022 season. Filip Huget studied conducting at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice and currently continues his education at the Department of Conducting of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. He received an honourable mention at the Polish Competition for Students of Conducting in 2020.

The musicians will premiere Dariusz Przybylski's Chamber Symphony, Dobromiła Jaskot Magammahm and Paweł Hendrich's Piano Concerto 'Phantomaticon' with Ignacy Lisiecki as the soloist.

The concert is co-organized by the National Institute of Music and Dance as part of its own program "Conductor-in-residence", financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
