Musical Shades of Love

Mezzosoprano Bernadetta Brabias, accompanied by pianist Mariusz Drzewicki, will give a recital on January 11, 2017 at the Chamber Hall of the Grand Theatre in Łódź.

The artist will present interpretations of songs and arias which deal with the theme of love – one of the subjects that has always been the most inspiring and examined by composers. The programme of the concert includes songs by Ludwig van Beethoven, Francis Poulenc, Agustín Lara, Modest Mussorgsky, as well as O, mio Fernando from The Favourite by Gaetano Donizetto, Mon coeur s’ouvre a ta voix from Samson and Delilah by Camille Saint-Saëns, Che farò senza Euridice from Orpheus and Eurydice by Christoph Willibald Gluck and Szemrze strumyk pod jaworem from The Countess by Stanisław Moniuszko.
