On October 2, 2017 a National Scientific Conference "Artur Malawski – life and work. 60 years since the artist's death" will start at 11 a.m. at the Artur Malawski Podkarpacka Philharmonic in Rzeszów.

The organizer of the conference, which takes place under the Honorary Patronage of the Marshal of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, Władysław Ortyla, is the Rzeszów Music Society. The event will be attended by artists, pedagogues, well-known academics, and music researchers from Warsaw, Bydgoszcz, Krakow, Przemyśl, Rzeszów, Sanok and Wiśniowa. The conference will be accompanied by a concert „Artur Malawski – in memoriam” and an exhibition devoted to the artist.

The conference materials will be published in the "Kamerton" music and literary magazine (2017 No. 61) issued by Zygmunt Mycielski Society in Wiśniowa.
