"Neo Kolekcja" is a project by the NeoQuartet ensemble aimed at creating a platform for collaboration with contemporary music creators and documenting their works in audio-visual form. On December 27, 2024, premieres of recordings of works by Paweł Hendrich and Agata Zemla will be available on the NeoQuartet YouTube channel.
NeoQuartet is creating its virtual space, where contemporary works are archived in the ensemble's interpretation. The recordings are distinguished by the highest sound and image quality, while maintaining the spontaneity of a live concert performance of the compositions.
In the 2024 "Neo Kolekcja" series, multimedia compositions will be recorded and made available: Pójdź za nim przez dolinę (2024) by Agata Zemla for electric string quartet and electronics, and Thall’Em All (2022) by Paweł Hendrich for electric/acoustic string quartet, computer, and video. Each piece includes a brief commentary by the composers. Agata Zemla's composition also features an interview recording with Marek Hłasko by Barbara Czekałowa from 1958, aired on Polish Radio. The visuals for Paweł Hendrich's work were created by Tomasz Strojecki.
