As part of the centenary celebrations, the Polish Society for Contemporary Music invites you to a jubilee concert at the Władysław Szpilman Concert Studio of the Polish Radio (Niepodległości 77/85 street). The concert "Photographic Scores – Haiku from Romania" will take you into the world of photography and improvisation on December 4, 2024, at 7:00 PM. Admission is free, but ticket reservations are required.
The minimalist works of Romanian photographer Andrei Baciu have inspired a group of renowned improvisers to create music: Ryszard Latecki (trumpet, percussion), Cezary Duchnowski (piano), Tadeusz Wielecki (double bass), and Hubert Zemler (drums).
The concert will combine these two art forms: the improvisations will be accompanied by photographs animated by Ukrainian graphic artist Sergii Glova.
