During the jubilee gala of the 25^th edition of the Polish Film Awards ‘Orły’ (Eagles) on the 6^th of March, 2023 at the Polish Theater, the winners were announced. The award for the best music was received by Paweł Mykietyn-composer of music to the film Io directed by Jerzy Skolimowski. John A.P. Kaczmarek received the 'Eagle' for Life Achievements.

Polish Film Awards ‘Orły’ (Eagles) were established in 1999 and are organized by the Independent Film Foundation. Awards are given in 19 categories, and the voting results are secret until the sealed envelopes are opened on stage. This year's jubilee 25^th edition of ‘Eagles’ featured 73 feature films, 51 documentaries and 25 TV series.
