Performance-installation Carmen. Toujours la mort, directed by Krzysztof Cicheński, will be staged at the Stanisław Moniuszko Grand Theatre in Poznań on Women's Day, the 8^th of March, 2023 at 19:00.

The performance features excerpts from Georges Bizet's opera Carmen, arranged by Daniel James and a composition by Teonika Rożynek, the winner of the ‘Polityka’ Passport Award, the end - drugi finał, carmen for orchestra, tape and voices, and intermezzi 1-6. The soloists will be accompanied by the Chamber Orchestra of the Grand Theatre in Poznań conducted by Jakub Czerski.

The performance is co-organized by the National Institute of Music and Dance as part of its own programme ‘Conductor-in-residence’, financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
