On the 14th and 16th of November, 2022 at the I. J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań (Stefan Stuligrosz Square 1) at 7 p.m. exceptional concerts will take place during the series ‘Poznań Composers and Their Guests’, organized by the Poznań branch of the Polish Composers' Union.
On the 14th of November organists Agnieszka Tarnawska and Łukasz Kołakowski will present works by Jehan Alain, Katarzyna Kwiecień-Długosz, Olivier Messiaen, Barbara Kaszuba and Thierry Escaich. The audience will also witness the premiere of Sylwia Nowastowska's Momentum virium.
On the 16th of November, Tomasz Sośniak will perform a piano recital "Kazimierz Serocki in memoriam". Apart from Serocki's works, compositions by other Polish composers such as Lidia Zielińska, Ewa Fabiańska-Jelińska, Artur Kroschel, Monika Kędziora and Jan Astriab will be performed.
The series is co-financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund as a part of the ‘Music’ programme implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance.
