Prague | 'Made in Poland': Kwartludium concert in Prague

Kwartludium ensemble which celebrates its 20^th anniversary this year was invited to take part in a ‘Made in Poland’ concert by Berg Orchestra. The event will take place on the 7^th of March 2022 in Prague. The two groups will work together on the project.

Berg Orchestra has been performing contemporary music for over 20 years using collaboration with partners from all over the world as a main tool of activity. Cycles of concerts organized by Berg Orchestra belong to the most prestigious events promoting contemporary music in Czech Republic.

The programme of the upcoming concert will consist of works by Polish composers recognized internationally: Chamber Piano Concerto of Agata Zubel, 3 for 13 of Paweł Mykietyn, Geysir Grisey of Marcin Stańczyk as well as Obraz wielokrotny of Tadeusz Wielecki.

All compositions will be performed in Czechia for the first time. The artistic director of the Berg Orchestra Peter Vrabel will be leading the project.
