To mark the 25th jubilee edition of the “Musical Gardens” Festival, a unique event will take place on June 30, 2025, at 7:00 PM – the festival’s first-ever live dance evening! The RE:CREATIONS Gala will be a celebration of dance and young choreography, featuring original works by dancers of the Polish National Ballet from the Grand Theatre – Polish National Opera in Warsaw.
These artists, usually admired in the classical repertoire, will step into a completely new role – that of creators. The choreographies to be presented were developed as part of the prestigious CREATIONS program, which supports the growth of emerging choreographers affiliated with the Polish National Ballet.
RE:CREATIONS is not only a rare opportunity to experience contemporary ballet and a fresh take on dance, but also an encounter with the future of Polish choreography – full of energy, boldness, and artistic exploration.
The program includes, among others: The End Of All Our Exploring, Nocturne in C Minor, and Voices – choreography by Gianni Melfi, Tide Harmonic Duet and Relative Identity – choreography by Joanna Drabik, On the Scent of the Night – choreography by Kristóf Szabó
And yes – there will also be (classical) surprises!
This event is co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage as part of the "Music" program carried out by the National Institute of Music and Dance.
