Lutosławski Concert Studio of the Polish Radio in Warsaw, under the baton of Armenian conductor Alexander Iradyan, who has been the artistic director of the Warmian-Masurian Philharmonic since 2024.
The concert will begin with the reflective "Symphonic meditation" Les Offrandes oubliées, a work by twenty-two-year-old Olivier Messiaen, who would soon become one of the most important figures in France's musical life.
The Trumpet Concerto by Mieczysław Wajnberg, full of grotesque humor, is one of the composer's most popular works. It will be performed by Jakub Waszczeniuk, a graduate of the Wrocław Academy of Music and the principal trumpet soloist of the Sinfonia Varsovia orchestra.
Symphony No.4 in B-Flat Major Op. 60 by Ludwig van Beethoven will be the perfect conclusion to the concert.
The concert is funded by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
