As part of the 7th International Szczecin Classic Festival, the "Szczecin Classic Academy" masterclasses will be held from 27 April to 3 May 2025. Programme will include individual classes, classes in chamber groups and chamber orchestra, and joint concerts with recognized master teachers from the most important art academies in Europe. The deadline for applications is 15 March.
The Szczecin Classic Academy is a project aimed at pupils, students and graduates of schools and academies of art, including instrumentalists (string instrument group) and existing chamber ensembles (free composition). A limited number of individual places have been prepared by instrument: violin – 15 participants, viola – 10 participants, cello - 10 participants, double bass - 5 participants and chamber ensembles.
In addition, participants will be able to take part in dance classes and lectures on stress management and strategies for career development.
Classes included in the course programme will take place in the buildings of Technopark Pomerania at 4 Cyfrowa Street in Szczecin. Additional classes as well as concerts will be held in city spaces and concert halls in Szczecin, including the Mieczysław Karłowicz Philharmonic Hall. It will be possible to work with several pedagogues.
Qualification for the course is determined by the order of applications.
