On the occasion of International Children’s Day, the Zielona Góra Philharmonic invites audiences to a symphonic concert titled “Take Your Child to the Philharmonic” on June 1, 2025, at 3:00 PM.
Part of the “Classics Without Borders” festival, the program for young music lovers will be highly diverse. In addition to the Zielona Góra Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra conducted by Agnieszka Środowska, the concert will feature both acclaimed artists and young virtuosos – students of music schools from the Lubusz region.
The concert will begin with The Carnival of the Animals by Camille Saint-Saëns, arranged for two pianos and orchestra. The soloists will be Dominika Peszko and Michał Rot. A special script for the event was written by Paulina Chmurska, and the animals will be portrayed by the presenter, Martyna Szymańska.
Students of music schools will perform Concerto di barocco by Mirosław Gąsieniec as well as works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Franz Liszt, and Antonio Vivaldi. Featured soloists will include Karolina Lachowicz (soprano saxophone), Tymoteusz Lemanowicz (trumpet), Piotr Najdek (French horn), and Lena Juszkiewicz (piano).
The concert, as part of the “Classics Without Borders” festival, is held under the Honorary Patronage of Marcin Jabłoński, Marshal of the Lubusz Voivodeship.
