The final concert of the 67th Tadeusz Baird Competition for Young Composers took place on May 28, 2026, during which outstanding artists performed the pieces selected for the second stage. Following the performances and deliberations, the Jury announced the final verdict, awarding two prizes and two honorable mentions.
The subject of the 2025 Competition was a song (or a song cycle) for soprano or tenor and piano or accordion. In connection with the centenary of the Polish Composers' Union celebrated last year, the Polish-language text was required to originate from the interwar period (1918–1939). The competition was anonymous and only after hearing the five compositions by the finalists and voting, did the jury and the audience learn who was behind each emblem.
The Jury consisted of Paulina Łuciuk-Frigatti (chair), Zbigniew Bargielski, Ewa Fabiańska-Jelińska, Michał Moc, and Wojciech Widłak, and decided to divide the Tadeusz Baird Main Prize as follows, awarding:
- 2nd Prize to the piece Six Kisses (Sześć pocałunków) for soprano and piano, composed by Adam Falenta,
- 3rd Prize to the piece Dialogues I (Dialogi I) for soprano (and tenor) and piano, composed by Dominik Radoń.
Honorable mentions were awarded to the pieces Blue Almonds (Niebieskie migdały) for soprano and piano by Józef Domżał, and In the Landscape (W pejzażu) for soprano and accordion, composed by Julia Piasecka.
