Polish Radio Chamber Orchestra Amadeus will perform a concert entitled The Art of Love on February 12, 2017 at the hall of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.
The programme of the concert, which is held on the occasion of Valentine’s Day, includes compositions by Astor Piazzolla - Michaelangelo (arr. by W. Prządka), Ave Maria (arr. by M. Wysłucha), Milonga del Angel (arr. by W. Prządka), and Suite Troileana, as well as Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis by Ralph Vaughan Williams, Introduction and Allegro, Op. 47 by Edward Elgar, and Zakrętaniec by Jerzy Zieleniak (dedicated to the Amadeus Orchestra). The Orchestra under Anna Duczmal-Mróz will join forces with Meccore String Quartet and accordionist Wiesław Prządka. The concert will be enriched with the love poem Ars Armatoria (The Art of Love) written by Ovid, which will be interpreted by Andrzej Lajborek.
