On December 15, 2017 at 6 p.m. at the Concert Hall of the Academy of Music in Katowice (Zacisze 3 Street) a final concert of the XXVI International Festival of Young Laureats of Music Competitions will take place under the title „Sketches for the opera – Stanisław Moniuszko’s „The Haunted Manor”. 

Young vocalists, laureats of Polish and international competitions, students and graduates of music academies and different educational centers, as well as participants of the Opera Academy at the Teatr Wielki – National Opera in Warsaw, will perform well-known arias, duets and ensembles from Moniuszko’s “The Hanuted Manor”.

The event is co-financed by the Institute of Music and Dance as part of the programme „Music and Dance – Interventions 2017”. Free admission cards available at the IPiUM “Silesia” beureau (31a 3 Maja Street) and by phone (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.).
