On 4–6 December 2025, the International Interdisciplinary Academic Conference “#Uncancel culture. The culture of inclusion versus the culture of exclusion. Work – function. Creator – audience” will take place in Kraków. The accompanying events will include the concert “Critique of Swing in Two Parts” performed by Piotr Orzechowski “Pianohooligan” (4 December), as well as the performance Songs of Polish Bakers by Mariusz Gołosz (5 December) and Music Painted with Movement (6 December).
The International Interdisciplinary Academic Conference brings together artistic communities representing various fields of art. The issue raised in the title of the Conference serves as an impulse to initiate a broad discussion on a concept that has been present in the humanities for some time—namely, the culture of exclusion or cancellation (cancel culture).
Musicologists and art historians from several continents will participate in the conference. The concluding event will be a panel discussion featuring the main organisers.
Selected papers will be included in the planned post-conference publication.
