The 15th jubilee edition of the Singer's Warsaw Festival will last till September 2, 2018.
Singer Festival is a renowned brand and Warsaw’s cultural showcase. Every year, theatres, concert halls, music centers, clubs and cafes, outdoor locations from East to West of the city offer concerts, shows, film screenings, dance workshops, walks and literary meetings. The 15th edition of the Festival will be extremely lavish, full of stars and young artists. Multiple musical and theatrical genres, a mixture of styles and trends – and it all comes with one common denominator: inspired by both traditional and contemporary Jewish culture.
Between the inauguration and the finale, we will hear 9 concerts given by the outstanding Polish and international musicians. On August 31, during the Jewish Music And Poetry Concert "Kadisz", we will hear the works of the following composers: Rafał Grząka, Halev, Igun Jovane, Ajde Jano, Jerry Bock, Janusz Sent, and Andrzej Seroczyński. On the same day, a concert "Jerzy Petersburski, Władysław Szpilman. New Generation Poland 100" by Orkiestra Adria with Lali Czaplicka and Jerzy Petersburski Jr. will take place. On September 2, string quartets composed by Felix Mendelsohn-Bartholdy and Mieczysław Weinberg will be performed by the exquisite musicians: violinists Katarzyna Duda and Mariusz Patyra, violist Krzysztof Chorzelski, and cellist Marcin Sieniawski.
