The organizer of the "Nova Music and Architecture" festival is the Toruń Symphony Orchestra, and the artistic director is its conductor Mariusz Smolij. Thanks to the festival, music became an excuse to present the most beautiful monuments in Toruń. This year's edition will feature eminent artists from all over the world, presenting their skills in the most architecturally interesting spaces in Toruń. We will hear Jadwiga Rappé, Krzysztof Meisinger and Sinfonia Varsovia String Quintet, Mettis Quartet (Lithuania), Duo Vitare & Arto Järvelä (Finland), Göttinger Symphonie Orchester and Prairie View A & M University Concert Chorale (USA, Texas).
In order to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the independence of our country, the program of the Festival will include a wide range of Polish music – from Chopin to contemporary rock bands. During the concert "Youthful interpretations", the Chamber Orchestra N-harmony will perform Serenade, Op. 2 by Mieczysław Karłowicz.
