Toruń | 28th International Festival 'Nova Muzyka i Architektura'

Classical, film and pop music will be presented during this largest music festival in the region in historic and modern interiors of Toruń architecture, including: in the Old Town Hall, St. Stephen’s Church CKK Jordanki and on a barge on the Vistula.

During this year's edition, in addition to the hosts of the Festival - the Toruń Symphony Orchestra - the following artists will perform: Gwangyang Municipal Youth Orchestra - over eighty-piece brass band from South Korea, pianist and composer Paweł Tomaszewski, Raffa Quartet, clarinetist Elisa Lopez Amor and pianist Jan Maarten van der Mark from Spain, Jan Cieplik (bass-baritone) with Grzegorz Lewandowski (piano), Imienowski Jazz Set and singers known from "talent show" programmes: Daniel Cebula-Orynicz, Wioleta Malchar-Orynicz, Kamil Franczak, Małgorzata Janek and Weronika Skalska.

Liu Yuhang, winner of the 7th International Chopin Piano Competition in Turzno, will perform on a barge on the Vistula River during a concert on the 20th of July on the occasion of the 175th anniversary of Fryderyk Chopin's death. On the 28th of July, Duo Karolina Mikołajczyk & Iwo Jednocki will perform songs known from cinema halls, including "The Hollywood Fantasy" by W. Kostrzewa. On the 4th of August, Nemesis Quartet will present works only by Polish composers - W. Lutosławski, F. Chopin, Z. Noskowski, L. Różycki, K. Szymanowski and S. Laks - arranged for saxophone quartet.

We will undoubtedly spend this summer with good music!
