This year we invite to the fifth, jubilee edition of the Beskid Classical Festival "Beskid Classics". A unique programme of the festival, which will take place from 24 August to 8 September 2024 in Bielsko-Biała, Pszczyna, Szczyrk, Ustroń and Żywiec, will include such extraordinary sites as the castle museums in Bielsko-Biała and Pszczyna, as well as the modern Cavatina Hall concert hall.
The artists who will perform are of international renown, including: Aldona Bartnik, Naruhiko Kawaguchi (winner of the 2nd prize at the International Chopin Competition on Period Instruments), Cracow Duo: Jan Kalinowski & Marek Szlezer, Duo Karolina Mikołajczyk and Iwo Jedynecki (this year's winners of the Polityka Passports), Jim O’Toole, Lucia Froihofer, Neue Hofkapelle Graz, Miriam Rodriguez Brullova, Baltic Neopolis Quartet, Paweł Kotla, the Zabrze Philharmonic Soloists and the Slovak Sinfonietta.
During the inauguration of the festival, an extraordinary new version of Antonio Vivaldi's Four Seasons will be performed by The New Vibes ensemble, accompanied by an orchestra and spectacular visualisations by Marek Hajduk.
The final gala concert "La Eleganza Moderna", with the participation of the main star of the festival - the outstanding violinist and celebrity Charlie Siem, will be hosted by Agnieszka Nowak and the well-known TV personality Olivier Janiak. It will also be possible to watch the documentary film A Modern Man, presenting the profile of this soloist.
The festival is under the Honorary Patronage of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage Hanna Wróblewska, the Marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship Wojciech Saługa and the Mayor of the City of Bielsko-Biała Jarosław Klimaszewski.
