Warsaw | 1. Timeless Film Festival Warsaw: films of Germaine Dulac and improvisation by Dobrawa Czocher

On the 12th of April 2024 at 8.00 p.m. at POLIN Museum Cellist Dobrawa will combine classics with modern sounds during a screening of surreal films by French director Germaine Dulac from the 1920s.
Germaine Dulac was a pioneer of surrealist film. Her two most famous films - "The Seashell and the Clergyman" and "The Smiling Madame Beudet" - will be shown during the 1st Timeless Film Festival Warsaw with live music. It will be performed by the cellist and composer Dobrawa Czocher, whose music also often has a dreamlike dimension.
