For the sixth time in Warsaw, there will be a series of micro-concerts WarszeMuzik. Until the 28th of August, 2022, on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, the music of the patron of the festival, Mieczysław Weinberg, and other Polish composers of Jewish origin will be presented: Ignacy Friedman, Aleksander Tansman, Andrzej Czajkowski and Władysław Szpilman. Admission to all events of the WarszeMuzik Festival 2022 is free.
Works by such composers as Ludwig van Beethoven, Maurice Ravel, Franz Schubert and Gustav Mahler will also be performed. In the final of the festival, the premiere of Explorations in Polytonality and Other Musical Wonders. Volume 3 by Matthew Shlomowitz - this year's resident of WarszeMuzik, will be played on the open-air stage of the Studio Theater at Plac Defilad.
