A meeting promoting the new book by Cezary Maciej Dąbrowski Scraps of Life (Skrawki życia), published by Volumen Publishing House, will take place on 12 March 2020 at 6.00 p.m. at the Warsaw Bookseller's Club (22/24 Old Town Square).

Wojciech Kaliszewski, a literary historian and literary critic, wrote about the work of Cezary Maciej Dąbrowski: "The world in Dąbrowski's poems is a wealth of unique details. His hero feels good among this diversity. Undoubtedly, this world is within the limits that man is still able to embrace with his knowledge. It's richness is tailored to human senses."

Cezary Maciej Dąbrowski, drummer, poet and composer, is a graduate of the Warsaw Academy of Music. He collaborated with Andrzej Mysiński's Concerto Avenna ensemble and the Sinfonia Varsovia orchestra. The artist also gives concerts as a soloist. The repertoire of Cezary Maciej Dąbrowski covers various style of music  classical and contemporary music as well as jazz, rock and improvised music. In 2015, he released the album Tangled in Your Hair  Poems and piano miniatures. The artist presents his poetic and musical work during his own series of recitals entitled "Word Like Music". He is a finalist of the Jan Twardowski Award (2017). His poem Freedom received an honorable mention in "The International Kosciuszko Bicentenary Competition" (2017) in Sydney, Australia.

The meeting, during which the author will present selected poems and his own piano compositions, will be led by editor Tomasz Zbigniew Zapert. Admission to the event is free. The meeting will be recorded by Blogpress.
