Warsaw | Chamber Concerts at the Szuster Palace

The Stanisław Moniuszko Warsaw Music Society invites you to the June edition of chamber concerts in the Szuster Palace in Warsaw (2 Morskie Oko Street). A total of 7 concerts will take place between June 2-19, 2019.

On Sunday, June 2 at 12.00 p.m. Anna Mikołajczyk-Niewiedział (soprano) and Michał Janicki (baritone) with the accompaniment of Emilian Madeya (piano) will present songs by Stanisław Moniuszko in foreign languages. A week later, piano works by Fryderyk Chopin, Ferenc Liszt, Johannes Brahms and Artur Malawski will be performed by Yuki Hayami, Akane Matsuda, Kana Matsushima, Yuzuko Miyairi and Yuka Mohri. During the evening concert from the series "Resounds", the Royal String Quartet will present chamber works by Thomas Gerwin, Andreas Staffl, Piotr Domagala and Paweł Szymański.

A harpsichord recital by Paweł Łopuszański in tribute to Wanda Landowska on the occasion of her 140th birth and 60th death anniversary will take place on June 16 at 12.00 p.m. The following day students of WTM music centres, pianists Anna Macrae and Michal Szołucha, will present their skills. The meeting for children and parents introducing the world of instruments and classical music from the cycle "Little Academy of Music" will be held on June 8 at 12.00 p.m. The June concert series will be closed by the "Jazz Salon" – on June 19, the Warsaw Dixielanders ensemble will perform in homage to Louis Armstrong.
