Warsaw | Concert on the 76th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising

The Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and the National Centre for Culture invite you to a special concert commemorating the 76th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising on 1 August 2020 at 7.00 p.m.

Natalia Sikora, accompanied on the accordion by Paweł Janas, will sing uprising songs in front of Kordegarda – the Gallery of the National Cultural Centre. We will hear the most famous songs related to the Warsaw Uprising, including Warszawo ma by Aleksander Olszaniecki, Warszawskie dzieci by Andrzej Panufnik, Marsz Śródmieścia by Zbigniew Krukowski, Zośka by Jerzy Zakrzewski, Dziś idę walczyć, mamo! by Małgorzata Godlewska, Ukochana, ja wrócę by Tadeusz Artur Miller, Hej chłopcy by Krystyna Krahelska, Sanitariuszka Małgorzatka and Marsz Mokotowa by Jan Krzysztof Markowski.

Prior reservation is required to participate in the concert, which will be also streamed live. Special songbooks have been prepared for people who will be in Krakowskie Przedmieście. All texts and sheet music are also available on the website https://www.zaspiewajmy.pl/.
