Ludwig van Beethoven Association invites you to the unique Krzysztof Penderecki Festival in Warsaw on November 22-26, 2023. It is dedicated to the work of a brilliant artist who would have turned 90 this year.
The concerts will take place at the Warsaw Philharmonic and the Grand Theater - National Opera. Two events (November 21 and 25) will take place simultaneously as part of the 5th International Music Festival of Central and Eastern Europe "Eufonie".
Krzysztof Penderecki's works will be presented by artists from various parts of the world who collaborated with the Master: Anne-Sophie Mutter, Leticia Moreno and Aleksandra Kuls (violin), Michel Lethiec (clarinet), Arto Noras and Claudio Bohorquez (cello), Łukasz Krupiński (piano), Jurek Dybał (double bass), Iwona Hossa, Natalia Rubiś, Karolina Sikora and Justyna Khil (soprano), Anna Radziejewska and Anna Lubańska (alto), Rafał Bartmiński and Krystian Krzeszowiak (tenor), Wojtek Gierlach (bass), as well as the DAFo Quartet, The Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Andrzej Boreyko, the Cracow Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir conducted by Aleksander Humala, and the Chorus and Orchestra of the Grand Theater - National Opera and the RUBINKI Children's Choir conducted by Maciej Tworek.
In addition to Penderecki's works, we will also hear compositions by Witold Lutosławski and Henryk Mikołaj Górecki.
