As part of ‘Grieg meets Chopin: Warsaw meeting on geometric methods in science’, at the University of Warsaw (Faculty of Physics) on the 11th of July, 2023 at 18.00 Aleksander Bogucki and Paweł Nurowski will present the concept of the world's first decaphonic piano. The originator of the project is Leszek Możdżer, who will perform his compositions for this unique instrument in the concert hall of ZPSM No. 1 in Warsaw on the 13th of July at 7 p.m.
On the occasion of the performance at such an exceptional event as "Grieg meets Chopin: Warsaw meeting on geometric methods in science", Leszek Możdżer and his friends, committed scientists, decided to prepare something completely unique: a piano was commissioned by the artist, symbolically referring to the world of modern science, which, as we know, operates mainly in the decimal system.
