Premiere of the Atom String Quartet's new album "Penderecki" will take place on 25 August 2019 at 4:00 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra as part of the cycle "Summer Concerts at Grochowska Street". 

The album includes arrangements of the selected compositions by Krzysztof Penderecki – an outstanding Polish composer of our time: Capriccio for tuba solo, Three miniatures for clarinet and piano, Three pieces in old style, Suite for cello solo and Prelude for clarinet solo. The recording was realized at the Mieczysław Karłowicz Philharmonic in Szczecin, which is also the publisher of the album. The ensemble has already recorded five original albums, two of which were awarded with the "Fryderyk" award.
