On the 7th of January, 2023, the Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra invites you to a symphonic concert dedicated to the music of Rafał Jackiewicz. The concert with the artist as a soloist will take place at 19.00 in the Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio of the Polish Radio in Warsaw.
Saxophonist and conductor Rafał Jackiewicz, a graduate of the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, winner of many national and international competitions, consistently develops his composing interests, devoting most attention to the instrument, which he masters best.
In the programme of the monographic concert, apart from a cycle of five pieces for saxophone, jazz trio and orchestra, there will also be a purely orchestral Poem. The solo parts will be performed by Piotr Dziadkowiec (piano), Maciej Kitajewski (bass guitar) and Adam Golicki (drums). Wojciech Semerau-Siemianowski will conduct the concert.
Financed from the funds of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
