The Polish Royal Opera Festival will last until 27th July 2018, including sixteen artistic events in the most beautiful places in Warsaw – the Royal Łazienki Park and the temples at Krakowskie Przedmiescie.
Apart from the premiere of Don Giovanni by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, directed by Ryszard Peryta, four premieres of the season will take place in the Royal Theater, which has been the main stage of the Opera since November last year.
For fans of chamber music, the Opera has prepared a series of concerts: "Polish lyric poetry at the Palace on the Island". In the interpretation of Marta Boberska, Olga Pasiecznik, Anna Radziejewska, and Andrzej Klimczak we will hear compositions by Ignacy Jan Paderewski, Karol Szymanowski and works of nineteenth-century Polish composers. Moreover, Oratorium minorum – Song about God hidden by Włodek Pawlik will be presented in the Church of the Holy Cross. The first festival of the Polish Royal Opera will end with the premiere of Mozart's Thamos in the Amphitheater in Łazienki Park.
