On December 11, 2018 at 6.00 p.m. the Fryderyk Chopin Museum will host a panel discussion accompanying the temporary exhibition at the Fryderyk Chopin Museum "Constelations Polish music 1918-2018".
Threads and concepts in Polish music of the last century create a kind of map of unconnected points that intersect on a certain geometric plane. The "Constellations" exhibition is a commentary to nearly 70 pieces of music, dealing with composers' thoughts about history, tradition and modernity. On December 11, musicologists, music theorists, and composers will sit together at the table and try to answer the question: "What is Polish music today?". Hanna Kulenty, Katarzyna Naliwajek-Mazurek, Szábolcs Esztényi, and Piotr Peszat will join the discussion panel led by Jan Topolski.
