The University Library in Warsaw invites you on 28 October 2021 at 6.00 to a concert of Zbigniew Bargielski's music as a gesture of thanks to the Professor for his generous donation.
In 2019, Professor Zbigniew Bargielski donated to the University Library in Warsaw his musical manuscripts – a testimony to five decades of work, thus enriching the collection of the BUW Archives Polish Composers. The concert is an expression of gratitude to the Composer. It will also be an opportunity to present the received gift.
Professor Bargielski's compositions will be performed in the auditorium on level -1 of the BUW complex. Among the performers will be outstanding musicians: saxophonist Alina Mleczko, soprano Ewa Leszczyńska, pianists Paweł Popko and Adam Mikołaj Goździewski, violinist Dominika Przech and accordionist Sara Wienczek. The programme will include such works as: "Night-Day" – 5 songs, Hierophany I, Neosonatina, Tango, and A Few Minutes of Presence.
