Winners of the "Fryderyk" 2021 awards!

The most important Polish music awards for last year's phonographic achievements in the categories of classical music – "Fryderyk" – were presented on 25 June 2021 at the Castle Opera in Szczecin. Winners have been announced in ten categories, representing a variety of styles and genres. The award in the Album of the Year – Contemporary Music category went to Art'n'Voices's Midnight Stories (DUX) – a project under the media patronage of the Polish Music Information Centre POLMIC.

Album of the Year – Concert Music: Penderecki. Concerto per fisarmonica ed orchestra, Concerto per flauto (sassofono) ed orchestra da camera (DUX Recording Producers),

Album of the Year – Solo Music: Moniuszko. Complete Solo Piano Works (Chopin University Press),

Best Recording of Polish Music: Grażyna Bacewicz. Sonatas for violin and piano (Polish Radio Music Agency),

Best Polish Album Abroad: Desire. Aleksandra Kurzak (Sont Classical),

Lifetime Achievement ‘Golden Fryderyk’ Award: Jadwiga Rappé, Jana Łukaszewski.
