Two Virtuosos on Stage: Bartłomiej Nizioł and Piotr Sałajczyk to Perform in the Świętokrzyskie Region as Part of “With Classical Music Through Poland”
Thanks to the “With Classical Music Through Poland” project by the National Institute of Music and Dance, two exceptional artists—violinist Bartłomiej Nizioł, playing a 1727 Guarneri del Gesù violin, and pianist Piotr Sałajczyk—will perform from September 4 to 6, 2025, in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship.
The concerts will be held at:
Bartłomiej Nizioł resides in Switzerland. He serves as concertmaster of the Zurich Opera House Orchestra (Opernhaus Zürich) and is a professor at the Bern University of the Arts (Hochschule der Künste Bern). He is also Vice President of the Henryk Wieniawski Music Society, an honorary ambassador of Szczecin, and a laureate of the Poznań Mayor’s Award.
Dr. Piotr Sałajczyk, habilitated doctor of arts, is professor at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, where he leads a piano class. He is the founder of the Wajnberg Trio, President of the Szymanowski Music Society, and Artistic Director of the Zakopane Festival. Since 2024, he has been a Bösendorfer Artist.
The program will include Sonata Op. 13 by Ignacy Jan Paderewski, as well as works by Debussy, Ysaÿe, and Gershwin, performed by these outstanding musicians.
