As part of the National Institute of Music and Dance’s project "With Classics Across Poland", mezzo-soprano Zuzanna Nalewajek and pianist Paweł Sommer will perform in the Lublin Voivodeship from July 24 to 26, 2025. Admission to the concerts is free of charge, but invitations are required.
Concert venues will include the Roskosz Manor and Park Complex, the Municipal Cultural Center in Sarnaki, and the Wilczyn Manor.
The program will feature gems of Polish vocal lyricism—songs by Fryderyk Chopin, Mieczysław Karłowicz, Władysław Żeleński, Grażyna Bacewicz, and Ignacy Jan Paderewski—as well as works by Claude Debussy.
These pieces will be presented in interpretations by outstanding artists. Zuzanna Nalewajek, a laureate of international vocal competitions, collaborates with the Grand Theatre – National Opera, the Polish Royal Opera, Wrocław Opera, the National Theatre in Taichung, the State Musical Theatre in Kaunas, and the Endla Theatre in Pärnu.
Dr. Paweł Sommer is a lecturer at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. He regularly accompanies vocalists at numerous international competitions both in Poland and abroad.
