In the summer, "With classics through Poland", and more precisely through the Łódź Voivodeship, wonderful artists will travel: soprano Justyna Khil and pianist Rozalia Kierc. Thanks to the project implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance, they will perform on July 25, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the Municipal Cultural Center in Wiaderno, July 26 at 6:00 p.m. at the Evangelical Reformed Parish in Zelów and July 27 at 7:00 p.m. at the Church of St. Bartholomew the Apostle in Czarnożyce.
Arias and songs by Karol Szymanowski, Szymon Laks, Mieczysław Karłowicz, as well as Henri Duparc, Francis Poulenc and George Gershwin will be presented.
The artists have been continuously collaborating since 2020 and have successfully participated in vocal chamber music competitions. They are graduates of the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, participants of the Young Talents Education Program - Opera Academy of the Grand Theater - National Opera. They are particularly fond of Polish music.
"With classics through Poland" is a project of the National Institute of Music and Dance implemented by the Polish Music Management. Its goal is to reach smaller centers, cities, towns and villages with music programs at the highest artistic level performed by the most recognized Polish artists.
