On September 30, 2018 at 7:30 p.m., the Concert Hall of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music will host a concert within the sixteenth edition of the European Workshop for Contemporary Music with cooperation with the International Festival of Contemporary Music "Warsaw Autumn" and the German Music Council.
The 16th edition of the European Workshop for Contemporary Music is a project involving 19 young musicians from Poland, Germany and other countries, which will conclude with two concerts: on September 28 at 7:30 p.m. at the Polish Radio Concert Studio in Warsaw (as part of the "Warsaw Autumn" Festival) and on September 30 at 7:30 p.m. at the Concert Hall of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wroclaw. The Department of Composition, Department of Conducting, Theory of Music and Music Therapy and the Instrumental Department are responsible for the implementation of the project from the AMKL side.
For the first time in Poland, Staahaadler Affenstall by Oxana Omelchuk and Beine und Strümpfe by Bernhard Gander will be presented. We will also hear Agata Zubel's Violin Concerto.
